Good health is all too easily taken for granted until something unexpected happens in life. A drug that solves a typical health problem is seen as a minor miracle for its sufferers. Today's medicinal world is littered with supposedly high benefit drugs that proclaim a lot about obesity reduction but do nothing to cure the disease state.
We are still a long way from being able to provide cures for illnesses. What if at this time, a medicine with effective remedial measures for checking and reducing obesity was discovered?
It is time to wonder at an old practice from the ancient tribe of South Africa that used Hoodia the miraculous drug and thus unfolded its miraculous quality. It is astonishing to note that thousands of years of their past practices, is becoming extremely relevant in our world today.
With Hoodia Gordonii, there may come a decrease to the production of synthetic weight-reducing medicines. The extract of the plant Hoodia, is currently emerging as the greatest weight-reducing drug with no current known side effects. There are several notable reasons why Hoodia is becoming THE ideal alternative for treating obesity.
It is a natural ingredient while the synthetic drugs are usually made from complex chemical reactions that may generate harmful side effects quite apart from the primary benefit. On the other hand, Hoodia products are a concentrate of the extract collected from the mother plant. This is the first reason why Hoodia scores over other drugs, though of course even natural medicines can have problems too.
It is effective in reducing weight notably. It works on the appetite of an individual and minimizes it. Now, when normal food intake falls down, the body starts to burn the stored food to release adequate energy. Extra food is stored in the subcutaneous layer as fat that gives the extra weight overweight people carry around.
When Hoodia extract is taken, the appetite reduces and the brain gets the feeling that it has taken food. The body thus has to burn out the extra fat to procure the energy needed for its various works.
Obesity is also caused by an excessive and unbalanced eating habit. When you take Hoodia, the urge to eat dies down so one can get out of the habit of eating the excess calories that causes the unwanted obesity. It reduces food intake.
However if you eat just junk food anyway and no proper natural foods you are quite likely to be overweight and have other problems than obesity such as diabetes and high blood pressure.Taking Hoodia supplements won’t change that alone unless you change your eating habits towards healthy foods.
Hoodia has a positive effect on the mood of an individual.
It is currently termed as a foodstuff rather than a medicine.
Many medicines raise the body temperature and increase the rate of perspiration. This can often result in further complexities. Hoodia is thought to be completely safe from such effects.
The production of Hoodia is done under Quality Control measures and care is taken to assure good quality.
Thus, Hoodia is the most authentic remedy for obesity; efforts are on to enhance its utility further.

Protect your Hair and Skin while you Sleep
Most women today treat their hair in a manner that will cause some damage. Colour, highlights, chemical perms, bleach, blow drying, curling tongs and straightening irons – all leave their mark. But did you know that one of the most damaging things for you hair could be the cotton pillow you sleep on at night.
Whilst your cotton pillowcase may feel soft, cotton is highly absorbent causing it to draw moisture from your hair and your skin while you sleep. The natural oils found on the scalp are uniformly distributed along the hair shaft with the simple act of brushing, but these oils are then absorbed by the cotton drying it. In addition the weave of the cotton is abrasive tending to grip individual strands causing them to break and the hair to tangle. This is why your hair can look such a mess when you wake in the morning.
The answer to this problem – Satin - or more particularly The Beauty Pillow with its uniquely designed Satin Pillowcase that prevents sleep wrinkles, protects your hair and allows your hair and skin to breathe and retain all its natural moisture while you sleep.
For decades now hair care specialists have been recommending satin pillowcases to protect your hair and your hair style while you sleep. Firstly satin is not absorbent so it allows you hair to breach and retain its natural moisture, and secondly the hair slides over the pillow preventing it from breaking and tangling.
Most medical experts now also recommend satin pillows for patients being treated for cancer and hepatitis C, where the treatment tends to cause frictional Alopecia (al-lo-pee-shah) the abnormal loss of the hair root and hair shaft from the hair follicle caused by the hair rubbing against the abrasive cotton and causing heat damaging the hair cuticles with heat.
Sleeping on a satin pillow helps prevent the cuticle heating up during the night as the head moves around and puts pressure on the hair because the head and hair flows over the satin. It is also better for your skin in helping to prevent facial creases caused by the face laying in the same position for an extended time.
The Beauty Pillow was developed following a year of testing of various designs to ensure maximum slide of the head and hair over the pillow. It’s unique construction ensure that your head slides much more easily than just using a plain satin pillowcase as you move during the night preventing damage to your hair and wrinkles on your face.
We also wanted a product that was easy to travel with. The Beauty Pillow is just 50 cm by 30 cm and simply sits on top of your cotton pillow, so if you are in a hotel, staying with friends or even in hospital, you can benefit from the pillow. Being small it easily packs in an overnight case, so you can use it while travelling on a train or plane in place of or in addition to the travel pillow provided.

7 Tips to Keep Your Skin Looking Great
By Sheila Dicks
1. Healthy Food: Keep your skin fresh and glowing by eating antioxidant-rich foods. Choose foods that are bright in color, such as broccoli, carrots, blueberries and tomatoes. When you eat healthy and exercise regularly you are much more likely to have great skin.
2. Sunburn Treatment: First to avoid the chance of sunburn always use a sun block that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. If you are unfortunate and get sunburn, take a bath in lukewarm water using a moisturizing bath product such as Aveeno. Follow with a moisturizer.
3. Help for Rough Hands: Use Mary Kay, Satin Hands. It has an exfoliant and a moisturizer that leaves hands feeling ever so soft. Or, apply an extra emollient cream at night and then slip on a pair of cotton gloves and you’ll wake up with hands that feel much softer.
4. Eliminate Bumpy skin: If your skin feels rough (has little bumps) use a body scrub once a week and you will feel a difference.
5. Get rid of Back Pimples: If you get pimples on your back try a body wash that is make for acne (such as Clearasil) and watch your acne disappear.
6. No More Pillow Marks: To avoid waking up with creases on your face use a satin pillowcase. A satin pillowcase is also a great trick to keep your hair in place.
7. Skin that feels fresh: If you have a problem keeping the shine off your face during the summer and your face feels greasy by noon, change your cleanser and/or moisturizer to oil controlling.
